COMMISSIONER'S RECAP
A seven-point comeback to the top.
Pat Carnes trailed the lead by seven points in Week 6, moved into first in Week 11, and held on through the unusual COVID-season finish. Ken Cross secured second after a timely Tennessee–Arkansas split, and Cory Craig completed a clear three-person podium.
Only two matchups were lost.
Ole Miss–Texas A&M and Georgia–Vanderbilt were the only games that never reached the ledger during the disrupted 2020 season.
The contest gave back.
Contestant generosity supported the Hadley May Foundation and helped a local family caring for a hospitalized child over Christmas.
The point system was retired.
A separate weighted point test rewarded 'better losses' more than the best overall record, so the commissioner scrapped it after the season.
